Our Civic Association

We are The Orange Hunt Estates Civic Association (OHECA). We are not a Home Owners Association (HOA). From the over 900 single-family homes and almost 300 townhomes in Orange Hunt, we have approximately 450 dues-paying members.

OHECA exists to preserve the quality of life in Orange Hunt Estates, and to preserve the property values in our community by implementing programs to maintain the safety and preserve the aesthetic beauty of our neighborhoods, as well as interacting with local and state agencies on issues that affect the Orange Hunt Estates community.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Orange Hunt Estates is a community established over 50 years ago in Fairfax County, Northern Virginia located just southwest of the D.C. Beltway. Orange Hunt Estates is known to be a safe and friendly community. With a healthy mix of long-time residents and young families, Orange Hunt is a place where neighbors know each other and care for each other. As pointed out in an article by the Washington Post about Orange Hunt Estates: “Little things add up to a great family-oriented neighborhood.”

The neighborhood and the immediate surrounding areas have a lot to offer.  We are proud to have some of the best public schools in the country located right here in our neighborhood. The three local private swim & tennis clubs provide a great place to socialize and spend a relaxing summer. Our local public libraries along with fantastic parks, lakes and rec centers, maintained by Fairfax County, complete the amenities this area has to offer. Only a couple of miles from the neighborhood you will also find a wide range of popular grocery stores, shops, drug stores and restaurants, as well as top rated medical facilities.
