WHAT IS OHECA
The Orange Hunt Estates Civic Association (OHECA) is a volunteer-run civic association dedicated to keeping Orange Hunt a great place to live. OHECA represents the residents of Orange Hunt and works to preserve the quality of life and character of our community. We maintain neighborhood common areas, support programs that promote safety and community, and work with local and state agencies on issues that affect Orange Hunt Estates. OHECA is not a Homeowners Association (HOA). Membership is voluntary, and our work depends on the support of neighborhood residents and volunteers.
Orange Hunt includes more than 900 single-family homes and nearly 300 townhomes.
Our Neighborhood
Orange Hunt Estates has been part of the West Springfield, Virginia community for more than 50 years. Our neighborhood offers the convenience of Northern Virginia while maintaining the character and connection of an established residential community.
What makes Orange Hunt distinct is the sense of community. It is a place where people know their neighbors, kids grow up playing together, families gather, neighbors volunteer for community events, and residents look out for one another. There is a genuine small-town feel here, even though we are minutes from everything Northern Virginia has to offer.
Life in Orange Hunt
There is plenty to do close to home. Orange Hunt is served by incredible public schools and is surrounded by parks, trails, lakes, libraries, and recreation facilities operated by Fairfax County.
Three nearby private swim and tennis clubs give residents places to spend summer days, meet neighbors, and build community. Local parks and recreation centers provide additional opportunities to get outside, stay active, and enjoy the area.
When it is time to run errands or head out for dinner, residents have convenient access to grocery stores, shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and other everyday services. And while Orange Hunt offers easy access to everything Northern Virginia (and the rest of the DMV) has to offer, the neighborhood itself remains a place where people can know their neighbors and feel at home.
